un-tangled

Our backyard has no fence, therefore when we let Buddy outside he is on a leash tied up. Well, our patio furniture often gets in his way...and he will go around the table or swing and get wrapped up and not know which way to get out.

Today, as I was leading Buddy around the swing in the correct direction--after he was all tied up and couldn't go any further, I thought of our mighty God. How often do we not know which direction to go? How often do we get all turned around? All tangled up in a mess? How often do we need just a little guidance? I turn to God when I need help...when I need to take a step in the right direction. For my dog, Buddy, me and my family are his guidance...we lead him the right direction to get ''un-tangled."

Although we might get tangled up in more than a leash and patio furniture...God is there to be our GPS system. I'm so glad that when no one seems to be of any help, HE is really there to help us navigate...make decisions...and help us through just about anything.

This is wonderful, Meggie. How true...and how amazing that this reminds us of how God is our parent, ever watching and caring for us and our well-being...and helping us get untangled...often. Preach it, honey!
