Don't get me wrong, I love school, but I hate going back to school after a wonderful time off. I can think of a million reasons why I don't want to go back and here are just a few:
- The alarm goes off at 6:30 rather than no alarm going off at all.
- I have to make myself go to bed at a reasonable time when I would much rather stay up late at night.
- Unreasonable teachers who are clearly working just to make money rather than trying to help students.
- Homework that never seems to end.
- Projects that add to the homework pile of things to do.
- Drama from other students, I hate that crap.
- Immaturity...nuff said!
- Crowded hallways.
- Constant monotonous schedule that I strongly dislike.
- Certain classes I will not enjoy-- like geometry and biology. ha.
- I find myself waiting for the weekend and holidays.
On that negative note, here are some reasons why I actually like school and am looking forward to it. Imagine that?? :)
- I've missed seeing my friends everyday.
- I actually like to learn.
- A schedule can be a good thing.
- Cool classes and things I am really interested in....like Journalism.
- New beginning to the way I approach school work.
- This is just another step to my future, what I do in school now determines where I go to college, etc.
- New teachers who are actually trying to make a difference in their students' lives.
- New grades...
- New friends...
- A great way to start fresh and get off to a new start.
- There are weekends and holidays to look forward to and thank God for that! :)
And hey, there is always next summer, right? :) I would much rather have summer all year long....but since that just isn't possible I'm going to have an optimistic attitude about my sophomore year.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I plan to enjoy my last few days of summer. ;)
