hypocritical.

It's one thing if you are hypocritical and really don't realize it. But when you say something and obviously do another, it's just sad.

Today in class, this girl (won't name any names) randomly looks at me and says "You are texting. That isn't allowed." UM. OK. First of all, I wasn't texting, I was looking at the time. Second of all, that girl sits in class texting the entire time. And thirdly, not only does she text, she talks constantly (I mean...come on!! Do people EVER shut up??), she makes out in the hallway, constantly disrupts the class...I could go on and on.....

Please don't give me crap for something you do all the time.

Thank you.

Dear Blog.......

Dear Blog,

This is what I did today....
  • Woke up at 7 am giving myself 30 minutes to get ready.
  • Ate delicious breakfast casserole.
  • Jumped in the car at 7:35 for school.
  • Got to school.
  • 1st block Geometry---took a 3 page test then took a career survey.
  • 2nd block Spanish---wondered why I needed to learn it (over and over...) and took 2 pages of notes. Then proceeded to write a spanish paper. Didn't go well. So when I got home today, I went to google for help---THAT didn't go well, so I asked my sister. I told her what I wanted to say in spanish and she translated from english to spanish. She talked, I wrote. I hate spanish.
  • 3rd block Biology---I took notes and practically scribbled while doing so. I colored a plant cell and labeled the parts. Then I did 2 worksheets that consisted of writing about cells. All we do in this class is classwork. No teaching involved. That must be wonderful for that oh-so lovely teacher.
  • 4th block Journalism---Worked the entire hour and a half. Wrote my article for school paper, but didn't include an interview-so it technically isn't finished. I wrote a lonnnngg movie review. And I have yet to even begin my unit 3 & 4 assignment that is due tomorrow. Yikes. Never knew an elective would be the most stressful class. I will be spending my lunch period working to get these 3 things complete tomorrow....along with the entire 4th block.
  • Finally at 2:55 pm the bell rang.
  • Home....
  • Watched TV> didn't think at all.
  • Then began homework. Including spanish paper (Thanks Sandi!) and organized my binders----they were a mess!
  • Had spaghetti for dinner. Yum.
  • Got into PJ's.
  • It's COLD.
  • Grey's Anatomy comes on soon.
  • And BED.

Goodbye blog.

Love,

Me

P.S. >>>> THANK GOD TOMORROW IS FRIDAY!!!! :)

"hey, your...."

It seems like being the youngest child of your family has many many perks, but at the same time there is one thing you hear ALL the time.
I thought this would eventually go away, but guess what? It doesn't.
The statement: "Hey, you are Matt/Sandi's sister."
I mean, I don't mind it, but it can get old. Ever since I could remember I have gotten it, especially in elementary school. All I want to do is say, "No, really?? Because I didn't know that!" I'm sorry. Sarcasm is just in my blood.
Haha. Please do excuse this post.

thought of the day

"Be yourself. Say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."

update.

Quick Update:

My Grandma was taken to the hospital via ambulance on Wednesday. This was her 3rd hospitalization since the beginning of September. She was having difficulty breathing, and is already on oxygen full time. They have treated her for bronchitis, and she seems to be doing better. Thankfully she went home Wednesday afternoon and was only in the ER for that day.
I am so overwhelmed at the remarks, comments, prayers and thoughts that have been sent to her and my entire family. Just Wednesday night at church I had several people coming up to me to say they had heard and were praying. Those words really do mean a lot, and that is just what I needed to hear. I hope that she will be much better very soon.

I have been busy with school and going to see her just about every day--but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thrilled that my 3-day weekend is here!! What a blessing.

Have a great great weekend.
