- My Mawmaw and that she is getting better and better everyday.
- My entire family...every single one of them. They are my life and a tremendous blessing. Thank you all for your love.
- My closest friends: Katy, Kasey, and Bryanna. Even though sometimes I feel like I keep up with them through twitter, facebook, and email--they have a way of being there for me by words and a simple hug in the hallway at school.
- My aunt, Terri for reminding me just the other day that with God ALL things are possible! I know this is true, but sometimes hearing it from someone else just when you need it really does help.
- The fact that I completed my article for the school newspaper two days early, compared to two days late like the last issue. What a relief!
- Cornerstone Baptist for allowing me to be the choir kids babysitter...the kids I keep are adorable. I love it.
- My computer is being fixed and shouldn't have any more issues once I get it back. Although, I really do miss it! (Thank you, Sandi, for allowing me to use your computer...)
- The beautiful weather!
- A loving God who is always there and loves unconditionally!
So I'll stand with arms high and heart abandoned... in awe of the One who gave it all. So I'll stand, my soul, Lord to You surrendered. All I am is Yours.

God Answers Prayers.
On September 5th, I woke up excited. That was the day of baby Ali-Marie's 1st birthday party and the Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler concert. After the party, I went home and got to see my grandparents for a few short minutes and then they left to head home. We recieved a call 20 minutes later that they were in a car accident and that my Mawmaw was hurt. My heart just about fell out of my chest and the tears began to flow. I just knew I couldn't handle going to the concert. My heart was with my Mawmaw and not being with her just about killed me. I went to the concert anyway, and my friends made sure I had a good time. (Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler really put on a good show! :) I texted my Mom all evening concerned about what had happened.
It turns out, they were t-boned and spun around 3 times. Praise to God- my Pawpaw was not hurt. However, my Mawmaw was hurt. The impact of the seatbelt broke her sternum which is a major chest bone. And we found out that when she fell in July, she actually broke 2 ribs, which the doctors thought were only bruised. My Mawmaw went through so much. The accident happened on the 5th---and they sent her home from the hospital on the 8th. As my Mom, Pawpaw, and aunt were trying to get her up the stairs leading into the house, she collapsed. She was too weak to even get in the house and obviously wasn't really ready to be without doctor care. She wasn't responding to anyone at all. So they called 911 and back to the hospital she went. I still can't get my mind wrapped around it all. I stayed in the hospital with her at night 4 times. And have managed and made it a point to be with her every moment possible.
As it turns out there wasn't enough oxygen going to her brain which is why it was so difficult for her to get up the stairs. She remained in the hospital until Monday, the 14th. The only reason she got to go home is because my uncles built a ramp, so now she can be pushed in a wheelchair up the ramp. It worked out perfect.
She was in the hospital for a total of 10 days. She went through more than even imaginable, and is now getting back to normal. She is doing so much better and has come so far since the car accident.
This past month has been a picture of God looking out for my Mawmaw and family. I'm not saying it has been easy, because it hasn't, but with prayer and a loving God, my family has gotten through it! He has been with us this whole time, I am so thankful. He IS a God who answers prayers!!
Thank you God!

the right to an opinion
Today's blog will be random and out of the blue. Don't get me wrong LOTS of things have happened in 10 days. But I just had a thought that won't leave me head. EVERYONE has the right to an opinion. Whether we agree with it or not, whether it is right or wrong. Let people express their opinions and don't shoot them down just because you think they are wrong. Whether it is politics or just a simple every day thing, everyone has the right to an opinion. Let them speak. And always remember if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
Lots to blog about, not enough time to do it.... You will have to excuse this random post! :)

Give Me Faith
These lyrics have blessed me in more ways than one. Thank You God. I needed to hear this.
Give Me Faith
By Elevation Worship
I need you to soften my heart
To break me apart
I need you to open my eyes
To see that You're shaping my life
All I am, I surrender
Give me faith to trust what you say
That you're good and your love is great
I'm broken inside, I give you my life
I need you to soften my heart
To break me apart
I need you pierce through the dark
And cleanse every part of me
I may be weak
But your Spirit's strong in me
My flesh may fail
My God, you never will
