To Charleston, SC

Tomorrow morning, we are headed to Charleston, SC to see my aunt Terri. My family is staying for the day and I will be staying for a whole week. I'm super excited!

I don't think I can ever thank you enough for what an amazing Mother and friend you are to me. There isn't a time that you weren't there for me when I needed you. You have always been by my side. If any of you know me or read my blog, then you probably know that I want to be a teacher. I've wanted to since before I can even remember. One thing that really bugs me is this remark I have heard a few times: "Teachers don't make very much money. You may not be very successful." Well, yes. I know this.

I am not and will not be a teacher to make money. I want to do something I love. And I love kids. Don't ever let anyone tell you what you can or can't do, or what you should or shouldn't do. And don't do anything for money. If you love what you do, then that's really all you can ask for.

My Birthday: July 5

I had a wonderful birthday on Sunday. We celebrated by going to Elevation for an incredible worship service, then we came home and had a cookout and birthday party for me. It was a lot of fun and I will never forget.

I am so blessed.

July 4th Celebration

We went to downtown Charlotte to celebrate the 4th holiday. They have a firework event called "Red, White, and Boom." It was a lot of fun, and the fireworks were incredible!! Enjoy the pics.

Virginia Trip

We had such a wonderful time! Memories were made, scrapbooks were in the making....it was a weekend of fun and laughter. Thank God for such great friends...like Sharon, Paul, and Sadie! Can't wait to go back! :)
